Winter Nails: Hues to Glam Up this Season

Winter not only brings with it fashion and makeup trends but also hues for your nails. Winter nails are mostly on the subdued end of the colour spectrum, including muted and darker shades.

Your nails are like jewels, Keep them polished always !!!

I love winters and eagerly wait for the 2 months of fog, bright sun, cups of coffee and most importantly fashion trends. Winter symbolizes dramatic hues and effortless chic.

In this post, I shall list down my favourite hues to paint your nails this winter season.

“The Best colour is the one you wear on your nails” – Tammy Taylor

Midnight Blue and Cobalt
Beat the winter blues with blue nails!!Β The colour blue symbolizes tranquility and loyalty. Rocking this shade means exuding oodles of confidence. This is indeed a bold shade and winter is the most favourable time of the year to rock this trend. Mattes, Shimery and glossy; all these shades of blue would look perfect for fall season.

Maybelline ColorShow in Ladies Night

This deep red wine shade looks fab on bags, makeup, shoes and clothes. Nails too join the oxblood bandwagon. Rocking the oxblood nails is effortless and exudes exaggerated oomph. Add drama to your look with this deep red shade. They look perfect while styling the Baroque trend.

Loreal Paris Color Riche Vernis

Winters are associated with dark grey and gloomy. Days. However grey nails are no where close to being gloomy. They look perfect with all winter staples.

Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel in Lychee Delight

Scarlett or Poppy, Β shades of red personify elegance and panache. Rocking this shade is easy and looks classy all year along.

Revlon Nail Enamel in Love That Red

If you find it difficult to embrace the deeper winter hues, brighten your nails with this hues of this palette . They are popular in summer but work equally in winters.

Faces Hi Shine NailPaint in Hottie

I love Maybelline color show nail polish. It dries fast and layers nicely. I tried the dark red on my toenails and layered under black polish for a black cherry look. I didn’t want to do a straight mix so this version was a happy compromise.

    1. Yes Maybelline had got a wide variety of shades. I must say the red over black would have looked great and perfect for fall.

  2. Most of the time I wear neutrals so they can go with just about anything, but every now and then I like a pop of color. That Tangerine is pretty and I’m not normally drawn to oranges!
