A story of a humble hoodie

When winters are in full swing, most of us long to slip into the hibernation mode and a loyal companion in this phenomenon is a hoodie.A hoodie screams comfort, warmth and to some extent laziness.

I have to admit that I seldom considered a hoodie to be part of my winter wardrobe. I had reached to this conjecture owing to the make of this style which had an inherent ability to make one look a tad ‘pleasantly plump’. I wouldn’t have done justice to this post had I not made this honest confession.

But..It always seems impossible unless it’s done. Be Hopeful, Be Bewakoof

So  when I had the opportunity to style a hoodie from Bewakoof, I considered it to be the perfect chance to overcome my inhibitions. It was a tad challenging in the beginning but the experience was enriching.

I was spoilt for choice as they stock an amazing collection of hoodies, jackets and chic joggers. They also include an amazing collection of mobile covers

I have always stressed on fashion being a figment of your individuality. And for the same reason I wanted to create a look that blends with my personal style. This post shall feature 3 looks that I have created with the humble hoodie.

Look 1

The best part of this ensemble is how effortlessly it culminated into a chic yet casual look. Have paired it with high waisted shorts and since I am a sucker for heels, I couldn’t resist pairing one with this.

  • Shorts- Candies
  • Heels- DKNY

Look 2

This one surely was an experiment. I have tried to be a tad fashion forward by pairing this rather casual hoodie with a formal pencil skirt. Sealed the look with nudist tan stillettos.

  • Skirt- Marks & Spencer
  • Heels- Charles & Keith

Look 3

According to me, this had to be the safest of the 3. After all how can you go wrong with a pair of jeans. However, I tried to add a bit of my element by picking up ripped boyfriend jeans. Please note that I could not ditch my heels even for this look.
