To experiment is Fashion

Being able to experiment with your clothes is fashion in its true form.

It’s against my principles to not style an outfit in different ways. I strongly believe that as a fashion blogger, it is my responsibility to bring something new to the table. It’s a tad mainstream to wear an outfit the way it is designed to. Cliche dressing is just not my style. A few tweaks here and there with the willingness to experiment and you shall have a completely unique outfit.

Recently I picked up a raw silk co-ord from Faballey for my friend’s wedding function. Most of my traditional outfits have bare minimum utility. It’s disheartening to see how these expensive pieces are used only once or twice and are then packed in a quaint little corner of the wardrobe. This has been a tradition for many many years.

But it takes only a little experiment to change the tradition. I stuck to the traditional style for my friends wedding and teamed the raw silk skirt with a basic black tee for a brunch look. No outfit is complete without some statement pieces.
